about So here’s a little bit about the girl behind the lens. I am a female photographer specialising in Weddings, portraits & Equine portraiture. I am from a little village in the Heart of the Peak District. I am a massive country bumpkin who has an eye for beautiful things. I will always remember walking my dog when I was ten years old with my dads old Canon SLR Film camera, demolishing rolls and rolls of film! I was in my element and needless to say I still am. I can’t believe I am lucky enough to be pursuing my dream as a career. I offer a distinct, stylish & elegant approach to all my photography. I love working with people and seeing new places. I am passionate about using my ability to capture those special moments in my own intuitive and creative way.

Clare & Maz ~ Urban Sheffield Engagement Shoot

Well, I think all I can say is WOW!!!

Only joking, how can I not have oodles to say about this gorgeous ‘Sheffield’ couple!! When I met up with Clare & Maz months ago I went away feeling so lucky and excited that I was going to be photographing their wedding! For starters, what a gorgeous couple. We all got on so well and they were uber easy to talk to. I loved that they were just full of ideas and the plans for the wedding literally sounded ‘to die for’!!

When we arranged the shoot I was worried they would be telling ‘me’ what to do!!!! :) They had planned where they wanted to go to an exact wall of graffiti which unfortunately was not there any more. However what we did find was so exciting and I could have stayed there all day!! They even brought props with them which I thought was great but unfortunately we didn’t actually end up using many (too busy enjoying ourselves). The book on the table in the first two photos is ‘Robson’s Guide’. Clare’s surname is Robson and so they thought it would be suitable … great idea! The first really exciting shot for me was on the platform of Grindleford station where I said, “wouldn’t it be cool if we got one with a train going past” … 1 minute later … check out the reflection in the window of the train! :) I also just loved the lighting in the dark alley way and the photos of Clare by herself … WOW!! #LOVE

I just want to say thanks guys … I had SO much fun … plus it was great to see republic’s ashes again … it’s been a while!! :)

I can’t WAIT for the big day … B R I N G    I T    O N    ! ! !

Enjoy …

The Beautiful Becky…

I had a bad accident a few months ago where I broke my arm and had an operation to have a metal plate put in. Because of this I have not been able to photograph anything for nearly 3months! My arm is much better now and so I am starting to photograph again. I wanted to just have a bit of fun and get back in to it so asked my little sister Becky if I could do some photos of her in exchange for a facial (she is a beautician) :) everyone’s a winner!! I just LOVE the burgundy scarf on her. It really compliments her skin tone.

Please comment and share on Facebook via the link below this post if you think you may know of anyone who might be interested in having portraits done of their kids or pets!! Thankyou x

Laura & James

MY SISTER IS GETTING MARRIED!!!! :D

I was so giddy when I found out that James proposed to Lau in New York just before christmas. He had planned their surprise trip for 5months and managed to keep it a secret right up until the day they flew. Boy did good!! :) When Lau phoned us at 4am in the morning screaming down the phone, we knew! I am official Maid of Honour come wedding planner … and I’m LOVING it! She asked me if I could do some photos of her for their save the dates before she goes home to Dubai. So here goes … What a STUNNING bride she is going to make WOW!

Mira & Jonathan 25.08.12

25.08.12

On the 25th August I was lucky enough to photograph my first Hindu Ceremony. I want to do another one, now! WOW. I think you will agree that Mira looked absolutely stunning! Thank you so much Mira and Jonathan for letting me photograph one of your special days. I say one because the next day they had an english ceremony too where I was a second shooter to another photographer. What an amazing couple of days, and how lucky to have two weddings in one weekend! Isn’t that what every girl dreams of? I will hopefully be able to put up some of the other ceremony too soon…

Tracey & Kelly

16.09.12

Today I went to Nottingham to photograph Tracey with Thomas and Morris, and Kelly with Dowie. They had an amazing set up where they were, with access to some woods which made for some really gorgeous backdrops. I had a lot of fun shooting these guys, all such characters and all soooo hungry!! The grass was just way too tempting but we got there in the end! :)

Harry…

Meet Harry. Harry is a working spaniel and isn’t he just beautiful!? He so knows it though, little poser! How photogenic is he? If you had to pick one which one would it be?
